Candace Schick is an Operations Executive Assistant here at Wiegers Financial & Benefits working alongside Colton and Deb Wiegers. She began working with the team as a contracted Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator dedicated to the Care For Kids by Wiegers Inc. events. Following a very successful 2019 event, Candace became a permanent employee.
Drawing on her years in media, first as a journalist, then as an advertising scheduler for radio and television, she brings with her an eye for detail and a “nothing is impossible” attitude. While she’s an “out of the box” thinker, in the Wiegers office you can find her “in the box” in her cardboard castle! Working with the Wiegers Financial & Benefits team has allowed Candace to infuse her passion for people, celebrations, and energy into each event, big or small.
As an avid supporter of the local and provincial country music scenes, Candace is always on the go and in the midst of planning an event or showcase. It was this dedication and commitment to her community that awarded her the title of Saskatchewan Country Music Association Country Music Person of the Year in 2021.
While music is a big part of her life, Candace’s greatest love is her grandchildren. When not in the office, you can probably find her on her motorcycle or exploring life through the eyes and giggles of her littles.
