Tanya Matsalla is the Brand and Communications Lead with Wiegers Financial & Benefits. She is one of the veterans on our team, having worked with us since 2000 (outside of a three-year sabbatical to work in market research). When she’s not protecting and growing our brand, she’s scolding Benefits Advisor Matt Hill for bringing her hardcopy documents to edit instead of sending them to her over email. Suffice it to say, Tanya keeps very busy.
Tanya is exceedingly proud of her two young sons, Alex and Austin, and her partner Cam. They spend much of their time in the warmer months at BMX tracks in Saskatoon, Warman and Regina, and they spend much of their time in the cooler months at indoor hockey rinks and their backyard ODR. With two amazing sons, a wonderful and supportive partner, two highly sociable dogs, two increasingly sociable parrots, and two yet-to-be-sociable budgies, Tanya’s life is full and very happy.
