A Day of Festivities
SamosaFest 2024 will take place on August 20th from 11 AM to 2:30 PM at Kinsmen Park in Saskatoon. This family-friendly event promises an array of activities and experiences that highlight the richness of our intercultural community. Attendees can enjoy:
Delicious Food: Indulge in a plate of samosas, pakoras, chutney, and a drink for just $15.
Live Performances: From 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, enjoy a series of cultural performances that reflect the diversity of our community.
Fun Activities: Engage in games, face painting, henna, balloon animals, and more, perfect for attendees of all ages.
Exclusive Perks: The first 400 guests will receive complimentary desserts.
SIA Merchandise: Purchase exclusive SIA merchandise to wear proudly during the event.
Giving Back
In addition to the festivities, SamosaFest is a wonderful opportunity to support those in need. By purchasing meal tickets through the “Donate a Meal” option, you can provide meals to the Saskatoon Tribal Center (STC) Emergency Wellness Centre, helping to make a positive impact in our
community. The STC is dedicated to creating a respectful environment that inspires and encourages innovation and leadership while building and strengthening partnerships with communities, individuals and organizations.

We were honored to attend the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association’s 60th Anniversary Gala, commemorating six decades of remarkable work in fostering cultural connections, equity, and inclusion in our community. Since 1964, SIA has been pivotal in helping newcomers and marginalized groups find a sense of belonging, from language and employment support to a diverse array of community programs. The Gala was a beautiful evening filled with
laughter, heartfelt stories, and a deep appreciation for the individuals and families who enrich our lives with their unique cultures and experiences.
Congratulations to SIA on 60 years of inspiring work—we’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you and look forward to many more years of partnership and community building.
